now operating as "liba", alongside parent company, liba falafel.

The experience of eating a Lovabowl salad is different from any other - whimsy meets depth of flavor and global inspiration in every bite.

Based in Oakland, CA, Lovabowl is a salad bar concept. Owned by Gail Lillian, founder of Liba Falafel, Lovabowl is “reinventing the salad bar” by building on the unique, award-winning falafel bar that the team at Liba has earned a reputation for over the last 7 years. It’s the industrious little sister that plans to grow up fast - with its own brand identity and broad appeal.

Lovabowl launched July 2016 as a farmers’ market booth at a few Oakland markets, while preparing for a brick & mortar restaurant.

One of the highlights of Lovabowl is that each salad and sauce on the bar has a unique flavor profile, and thoughtfully balances savory, sweet, and spicy in every bowl. Customers build their bowl over a choice of grains, greens, or both.

Lovabowl‘s salad bar will feature a wide ethnic and seasonal influence, as well as frequently changing recipes, including grilled chicken and steak salads.
